(a) All pension funds and retirement systems subject to this Code shall comply with the requirements imposed on them by the federal Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (P.L. 103-353). (b) All pension funds and retirement systems subject to this Code shall comply with the federal Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2008 (P.L. 110-245).
