(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec. 150. Temporary suspension of a license. The Secretary may temporarily suspend the license of an orthotist, prosthetist, or pedorthist without a hearing simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing under Section 95 if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that a licensee's continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Secretary temporarily suspends a license without a hearing, a hearing by the Board must be held within 30 days after the suspension and completed without appreciable delay.
