Sec. 66. 
Inactive status. 
A person licensed under this Act who notifies the Department in writing on forms prescribed by the Department may place the person's license on inactive status and shall be excused from the payment of renewal fees until the Department is notified in writing of the person's desire to resume active status.
 
Any licensed geologist whose license is in inactive status shall not practice professional geology in this State.
