(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 54. A person who holds himself or herself out to treat human ailments under a name other than his or her own, or by personation of any physician, shall be punished as provided in Section 59. However, nothing in this Act shall be construed as prohibiting partnerships, limited liability companies, associations, or corporations in accordance with subsection (c) of Section 22.2 of this Act.
