(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 145. Temporary suspension of a license. The Secretary may temporarily suspend the license of a massage therapist without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 95 of this Act, if the Secretary finds that the evidence in his or her possession indicates that continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. In the event that the Secretary temporarily suspends the license of a massage therapist without a hearing, a hearing by the Board must be held within 30 calendar days after the suspension has occurred.
