(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 170. Home rule. The regulation and licensing of marriage and family therapists and associate licensed marriage and family therapists are exclusive powers and functions of the State. A home rule unit may not regulate or license marriage and family therapists or associate marriage and family therapists. This Section is a denial and limitation of home rule powers and functions under subsection (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.
