(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 5-15. Legislative intent. The intent of the General Assembly in enacting this statute is to regulate persons, corporations, and firms licensed under this Act for the protection of the public. These practices are declared to affect the public health, safety, and welfare and are subject to exclusive State regulation and licensure. This Act shall be construed to carry out these purposes.
