(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec. 27. As a condition for renewal of a license, licensees shall be required to complete continuing education in accordance with rules established by the Department. Persons employed as full-time court reporters under the Court Reporters Act may apply for a waiver from the continuing education requirements. The waiver shall be granted upon the submission of evidence satisfactory to the Department that the certified shorthand reporter is employed as a full-time court reporter under the Court Reporters Act.
