(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 35. Powers and duties of the Department. (a) The Department shall exercise the powers and duties prescribed by the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois for the administration of licensing Acts and shall exercise any other powers and duties necessary for effectuating the purposes of this Act. (b) The Department may adopt rules consistent with the provisions of this Act for its administration and enforcement and may prescribe forms that shall be issued in connection with this Act. The rules may include but are not limited to standards and criteria for licensure, professional conduct, and discipline.
