(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 20-15. Home rule. The regulation and licensing provided for in this Code are exclusive powers and functions of the State. A home rule unit may not regulate or license funeral directors, funeral director and embalmers, or any activities relating to the services of funeral directing and embalming.
