(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 26. Examination for registration as an environmental health practitioner. (a) Beginning on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 92nd General Assembly, only persons who meet the educational and experience requirements of Section 20 and who pass the examination authorized by the Department shall be licensed as environmental health practitioners. (b) Applicants for examination as environmental health practitioners shall be required to pay, either to the Department or the designated testing service, a fee covering the cost of providing the examination.
