(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 135. Home rule. The regulation and licensing of environmental health practitioners are exclusive powers and functions of the State. A home rule unit may not regulate or license environmental health practitioners. This Section is a denial and limitation of home rule powers and functions under subsection (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.
