(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec. 37. Pursuant to subsection (i) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution, a home rule unit may not regulate the profession of structural engineering in a manner more restrictive than the regulation by the State of the profession of structural engineering as provided in this Act. This Section is a limitation on the concurrent exercise by home rule units of powers and functions exercised by the State.
