(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec. 41. Violation; political subdivisions, county, city or town; construction without professional engineer. It is unlawful for the State or any of its political subdivisions, or any county, city or town to engage in the construction of any public work involving professional engineering unless the engineering plan, specifications, and estimates have been prepared by, and the construction is executed under, the guidance of a professional engineer licensed under this Act.
