(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec. 17.5. Continuing education. The Department may adopt rules of continuing education for persons licensed under this Act. The Department shall consider the recommendations of the Board in establishing the guidelines for the continuing education requirements. The requirements of this Section apply to any person seeking renewal or restoration under Section 17 of this Act. For the purposes of this Act, continuing education shall also be known as professional development.
