(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 50. Qualifications for elevator inspector's license. (a) No inspector's license shall be granted to any person who has not paid the required application fee. (b) No inspector's license shall be granted to any person, unless he or she has been certified as meeting the requirements of ASME QEI-1 by a nationally or internationally recognized independent organization concerned with personnel certification.
