Sec. 20.1. 
Guest instructors of acupuncture; professional education. 
The provisions of this Act
do not prohibit an acupuncturist from another state or country, who is not
licensed under this Act and who is an invited guest of a professional
acupuncture association or scientific acupuncture foundation or an acupuncture training program or continuing education provider approved by the Department under this
Act, from engaging in professional education through lectures, clinics, or
demonstrations, provided that the acupuncturist is currently licensed in another state or country and his or her license is active and has not been disciplined, or he or she is currently certified in good standing as an acupuncturist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine or similar body approved by the Department. 
 
Licensees under this Act may engage in professional education through lectures, clinics, or demonstrations as an invited guest of a professional acupuncture association or scientific acupuncture foundation or an acupuncture training program or continuing education provider approved by the Department under this Act. The Department may, but is not required to, establish rules concerning this Section.
