(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 170. Home rule powers. The regulation of surgical assistants and surgical technologists is an exclusive power and function of the State. A home rule unit shall not regulate surgical assistants or surgical technologists. This Section is a limitation under subsection (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.
