Sec. 356z.19. 
Cardiovascular disease. 
Because cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death and disability, an insurer providing group or individual policies of accident and health insurance or a managed care plan shall develop and implement a process to communicate with their adult enrollees on an annual basis regarding the importance and value of early detection and proactive management of cardiovascular disease. Nothing in this Section affects any change in the terms, conditions, or benefits of the policies and plans, nor the criteria, standards, and procedures related to the application for, enrollment in, or renewal of coverage or conditions of participation of enrollees in the health plans or policies subject to this Code.
