(a) The Stroke Data Collection Fund is created as a special fund in the State treasury. (b) Moneys in the fund shall be used by the Department to support the data collection provided for in Section 3.118 of this Act. Any surplus funds beyond what are needed to support the data collection provided for in Section 3.118 of this Act shall be used by the Department to support the salary of the Department Stroke Coordinator or for other stroke-care initiatives, including administrative oversight of stroke care.
