(was 20 ILCS 5/14) Sec. 5-615. Officer's oath. Each officer whose office is created by the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois or by any amendments to the Code shall, before entering upon the discharge of the duties of the office, qualify for the office by taking and subscribing the constitutional oath of office and filing the signed oath in the office of the Secretary of State.
