The Repatriation and Reinterment Fund is created in the State treasury. All restitution collected from the prosecution of any violation of this Act shall be deposited in the fund and each deposit shall only be used to cover the restitution that was so ordered in an individual case pursuant to Section 12. The General Assembly may allocate appropriations to this fund to cover the cost of, including but not limited to, reinterment, repatriation, repair, or restoration of human remains, unregistered graves, grave markers, or grave artifacts that are in the custody of the Department.
