Nuclear and radioactive materials transportation plan.

The Agency shall formulate a comprehensive plan regarding the transportation of nuclear and radioactive materials in Illinois. The Agency shall have primary responsibility for all State governmental regulation of the transportation of nuclear and radioactive materials, insofar as the regulation pertains to the public health and safety. This responsibility shall include but not be limited to the authority to oversee and coordinate regulatory functions performed by the Department of Transportation, the Illinois State Police, and the Illinois Commerce Commission.
