(a) The Commissioner and each deputy commissioner, before entering upon the duties of office, shall take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office. (b) The Commissioner and each deputy commissioner, before entering upon the duties of office, shall give bond, with security to be approved by the Governor, in the sum of $20,000 for the Commissioner and $10,000 for each deputy commissioner, conditioned upon the faithful performance of their duties. Each such bond shall be filed with the Secretary of State.
