(was 20 ILCS 2705/49 and 49.23) Sec. 2705-15. Administrative organization. (a) The Secretary may create and establish offices, divisions, and administrative units as necessary for the efficient administration and operation of the Department and may assign functions, powers, and duties to the several offices, divisions, and administrative units in the Department. (b) The Department has the power to establish the administrative organization within the Department that is required to carry out the powers, duties, and functions of the Department and best utilize the personnel, skills, facilities, and resources of the Department and its offices, divisions, and agencies.
