(was 20 ILCS 2310/55.58) Sec. 2310-225. Nurse incentive program for medically underserved areas. The Department shall undertake a study to determine what incentives might be necessary to attract nurses to practice in medically underserved areas of Illinois. Based on the research and experience of other states and the private sector, a variety of incentive programs should be examined for their feasibility and possible development and implementation in Illinois. Based upon the results of this study, the Department may implement a nurse incentive program, subject to available appropriations.
