(a) The Department shall determine the manner of reclamation of designated abandoned lands, and shall make recommendations as to the use of those lands after reclamation. (b) The Department may by rule provide for the filling of voids and sealing of tunnels, shafts and entryways, and reclamation of the surface impacts of underground or surface mines.
