Serve Illinois Commission Fund; creation.

The Serve Illinois Commission Fund is created as a special fund in the State treasury. All federal grant moneys awarded in support of the activities authorized under this Act to the Department of Human Services or the Commission may be deposited into the Serve Illinois Commission Fund. In addition to federal grant moneys, the Department and the Commission may accept and deposit into the Serve Illinois Commission Fund any other funds, grants, gifts, and bequests from any source, public or private, in support of the activities authorized under this Act. Appropriations from the Serve Illinois Commission Fund shall be used for operations, grants, and other purposes as authorized by this Act.
