The State Superintendent of Education shall, from funds appropriated for that purpose, provide assistance to public schools for the implementation or improved utilization of technology, such as support for the development of communication networks and infrastructure, efforts to promote the use of technology in the classroom, and the initiation of technology leadership and capacity-building activities. Assistance may include the provision of staff development resources, curriculum planning and implementation resources, the establishment of demonstration sites, and the integration of technology into school improvement activities.
