3b. Health insurance for retired teachers. To make health insurance premium payments to the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois for those costs of participating in the health benefit program established under Article 16 of the Illinois Pension Code that are not paid by the System under Section 16-153.4 of the Illinois Pension Code and for the cost of premiums charged for participation in the health benefit program established under Section 6.5 of the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971, for eligible participants who retired from the school district.
