The Idaho law enforcement, firefighting and EMS medal of honor shall be awarded by the governor to the law enforcement recipients during the national law enforcement recognition week and to the firefighter and EMS recipients during the annual Idaho fallen firefighter memorial ceremony. The governor may delegate the awarding of the medal to the lieutenant governor or the attorney general.
