As used in this chapter, each of the terms defined shall have the meaning given in this section or in section 59-1302 , Idaho Code, unless a different meaning is clearly required by the context. (a) "Board" means the retirement board of the employee system. (b) "City member" means a person receiving benefits or establishing the right to receive benefits from a city system. (c) "City system" means the Boise city employee's retirement system and any policeman's retirement system established and operated by virtue of any city ordinance, charter, or pursuant to the provisions of chapter 15, title 50 , Idaho Code. (d) "Employee system" means the retirement system created by and existing through the provisions of chapter 13, title 59 , Idaho Code. (e) "Employer" means a city having a city system.
