The board may waive the requirements of section 54-4706 , Idaho Code, and grant a license to any applicant who shall present proof of current licensure to engage in the practice of acupuncture in another state, the District of Columbia, or territory of the United States which requires standards for licensure considered by the board to be equivalent to the requirements for licensure pursuant to this chapter.
