The board, in accordance with the requirements of chapter 52, title 67 , Idaho Code, may, upon recommendation of the licensure board, refuse to issue a license or permit, refuse to renew a license or permit, or may suspend or revoke a license or permit, under such conditions as the board may determine, if the licensee, permittee or applicant for license: (1) Has been convicted of a felonious act, or crime involving moral turpitude; (2) Obtained a license or permit pursuant to this chapter by means of fraud, misrepresentation or concealment of material facts; (3) Engaged in the practice of dietetics in a manner which does not meet the generally accepted standards for the practice of dietetics within the state of Idaho; (4) Has failed to maintain the confidentiality of medical records or other medical information pertaining to identifiable patients, except as required or authorized by law; (5) Engaged in any conduct which constitutes an abuse or exploitation of a patient arising out of the trust and confidence placed in the dietitian by the patient.
