A person applying for a license shall file a written application provided by the board showing to the satisfaction of the board that such person meets the following requirements: (1) Has successfully completed the academic requirements of an education program in dietetics approved by the licensure board; and (2) Has successfully completed a dietetic internship or preprofessional practice program, coordinated program, or such other equivalent experience as may be approved by the licensure board. (3) Has passed an examination as provided in section 54-3507 , Idaho Code.
