Applications for registration shall be on forms prescribed and furnished by the board. The application shall be made under oath, and shall show the applicant's education and a detailed summary of his geologic work. (1) The application fee for professional geologists shall be set by the board at not more than one hundred dollars ($100). (2) Should the board deny the issuance of a certificate of registration to any applicant, the application fee shall be retained by the board.
