A system operator shall comply with the customer service requirements as set forth in 47 CFR 76.309(c), as amended from time to time, and shall maintain a local or toll-free telephone number for customer service contact. A political subdivision may provide such assistance to subscribers as the political subdivision may deem appropriate to enforce the provisions of this section.
