(1) In the Idaho military not in federal service, general courts-martial may be convened by the governor. The governor may, after convening a general court-martial, delegate to the adjutant general authority to take any or all further actions which the convening authority can take under this code. (2) In the Idaho military not in federal service, special courts-martial may be convened by the commanding officer of a garrison, fort, post, camp, air base, auxiliary air base, or other place where Idaho military troops are on duty, or of a brigade, regiment, wing, group, detached battalion, separate squadron or equivalent detached command, or any superior authority.
