(1) The insurer shall keep at its head office records and accounts of its transactions, claims, and affairs in such form and with such completeness as may be reasonably necessary for the identification and examination thereof. (2) Annually on or before March 1 the insurer shall file with the director a full and true statement of its financial condition, transactions and affairs as of the December 31 preceding. The statement shall be in such general form as is required or accepted by the director.
