Highway district elections shall be conducted in accordance with the general laws of the state, including the provisions of chapter 14, title 34 , Idaho Code. The county commissioners shall select polling places and the county clerk shall appoint election judges and clerks. The county clerk shall conduct the elections for a highway district and shall perform all necessary duties of the election official of a highway district.
