(1) Any person who willfully violates any provision of this chapter or the duly promulgated rules hereunder is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300) or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment. (2) A separate violation is deemed to have occurred with respect to each conveyance not in compliance with this chapter. Each day such violation continues constitutes a separate offense.
