The state board of education shall by rule provide for the validity, duration, renewal and lapse of certificates. If the holder of a certificate who has undergone a criminal history check pursuant to district policy as provided in subsection (15) of section 33-512 , Idaho Code, is found to have been convicted of any felony crime enumerated in section 33-1208 , Idaho Code, the certificate shall be revoked or suspended as provided in this chapter.
