Idaho Code § 31-4121

Alteration and annexation of translator district boundaries -- Procedure.

The boundaries of a translator district created by authority of this act, may be altered and outlying areas be annexed from territory contiguous to the district in the following manner:
a. A petition shall be signed by resident real property owners within the proposed area, equal in number to not less than sixty per cent (60%), within the area to be annexed;
b. The petition shall designate the boundaries of the contiguous area to be annexed and ask that it be annexed to the existing translator district;
c. The petition shall be transmitted to the clerk and recorder and the hearing and notice thereof shall be the same as provided by sections 6 through 8 [sections 31-4106 through 31-4108] of this act;
d. After the hearing the board of county commissioners shall adopt a resolution either annexing the area to the existing television district or denying the petition.
