Each of the nine (9) producer members of the commission shall: (1) Be a citizen over twenty-five (25) years of age and a resident of this state and the district which he represents; and (2) Be and for the five (5) years last preceding his election have been actually engaged in producing dairy products within this state. These qualifications must continue during each member's term of office. (3) Any commission member who discontinues to produce dairy products in this state, or changes his residence to another district during the term of office for which he has been selected, shall within thirty (30) days of such discontinuance or change of residence submit his resignation from the commission to the chairman of the commission. Removal procedures may be instituted against any commission member by petition signed by at least thirty percent (30%) of the producers within the commission member's district.
