The aquaculture industry is one of the agricultural industries that contributes to the economic welfare of the state. It is the purpose of this chapter to promote the public health and welfare of the citizens of the state by providing means for the protection, promotion, study, research, analysis and development of markets relating to the growing and marketing of Idaho aquaculture products and Idaho aquaculture byproducts.
