The provisions of sections 67-6601 through 67-6616 , Idaho Code, and sections 67-6623 through 67-6630 , Idaho Code, insofar as they relate to the reporting of campaign contributions and expenditures, are hereby made applicable to all magistrate retention elections except that, with the exception of section 67-6623 (f), Idaho Code, the clerk of the district court shall stand in place of the secretary of state as it relates to the provisions cited in this section.
