PART IX. POWERS NOT AFFECTED
[§844D-101] Law enforcement officer powers under other laws not affected. Nothing in this chapter shall limit or abrogate any existing authority of law enforcement officers to take, maintain, store, and use DNA or forensic identification markers, blood specimens, buccal swab samples, saliva samples, or print impressions for identification purposes.
