§501-44 Contests not otherwise represented; duty of attorney general; res adjudicata when. Whenever there are grounds for contesting an application to have the title to land registered and the grounds or any of them are not being presented to the court, the attorney general or the attorney general's deputy shall contest all applications to register title irrespective of whether or not a specific claim on behalf of the State has been filed by the attorney general or the attorney general's deputy. The contest shall not be held to be res adjudicata in any subsequent action contemplated in section 501-212.
