§490:9-803 Security interest perfected prior to July 1, 2013. (a) A security interest that is a perfected security interest prior to July 1, 2013, shall be a perfected security interest under this article if, on or before July 1, 2013, the applicable requirements for attachment and perfection under this article are satisfied without further action. (b) Except as otherwise provided in section 490:9-805, if, prior to July 1, 2013, a security interest is a perfected security interest, but the applicable requirements for perfection under this article are not satisfied by July 1, 2013, the security interest shall remain perfected thereafter only if the applicable requirements for perfection under this article are satisfied on or before July 1, 2014.
