Powers and duties of the commissioner

[§481R-3] Powers and duties of the commissioner. (a) The commissioner may adopt rules under chapter 91 as necessary to implement this chapter.
(b) The commissioner may conduct investigations of warrantors or other persons as reasonably necessary to enforce this chapter and to protect consumers in this State. On request of the commissioner, a warrantor shall make the warrantor's records maintained under section 481R-8 regarding vehicle protection products sold by the warrantor available to the department as necessary to enable the department to reasonably determine compliance with this chapter.
